We're hiring a C++ Software Engineer to join our team based out of one of our Germany offices (preferably Cologne). We focus on content development and management, which includes specialists from multiple regions across Europe, APAC and the USA, collaborating in a lean-agile environment.
At NX CAM, we are collaborating with international teams worldwide to create the next generation of machining solutions. To achieve this vision, we are developing both automated and semi-automated solutions that aid our customers in planning, programming, and verifying their NC programs. You'll make a difference by:
- Designing, developing, modifying, and implementing software programming for products (internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery.
- Ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism.
- Understanding complex products, solutions, and problems.
- Creating, documents, and executing software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas.
- Leading of one or more projects, providing input to the technical direction for one area of a product and consulting with customers in regard to future upgrades and products.
- Solving complex technical problems.
- Providing specialised expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas.
- Working collaboratively on complex projects with wide latitude for independent judgment.
Your success is grounded in:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Applications or IT
- Your exceptional C++ programming abilities paired with Web Technologies experience (HTML5, ReactJS, JavaScript, CSS)
- Proficiency with Linux development environments.
- A collaborator at heart, you’re also self-motivated and organised.
- Worked in an Agile/Lean development environment.
- Exposure to NX CAM or Teamcenter programming software, either as a developer or an end-user.
- Experience within the manufacturing (or related) industry.
